Privacy statement

VijfDertien B.V. ("VijfDertien", "we", "us") respects the privacy of visitors to vijfdertien.it. This privacy statement explains which personal data we process, why and how.

What data do we process?

Contact form

If you fill in the contact form on the website, we process:

• Name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Company name (optional)
• The content of your message (required)

Chat widget

The chat widget only loads after you explicitly click the chat button in the bottom-right corner. From that moment on, Appfire and Spartez Software (the widget vendors) process:

• IP address
• Browser and device information
• Any messages you send via the chat

Error monitoring (Sentry)

When a technical error occurs on the website, our error monitoring (Sentry, operated by Functional Software Inc.) automatically sends limited information to Sentry:

• IP address
• Stack trace and metadata about the error
• Browser and device information

We use Sentry to fix bugs. We do not measure interactions or visitor behaviour.

Visitor statistics (Plausible Analytics)

For general visitor statistics we use Plausible Analytics (operated by Plausible Insights OÜ, established in Estonia, servers in Frankfurt, Germany). Plausible sets no cookies, does no device fingerprinting and stores no personal identifiers. The following is recorded in aggregate form:

• URL visited and referring site
• Browser, operating system and screen size
• Country (derived from the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored)

For transfers to the United States we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods

• Contact-form messages are retained as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, where a commercial relationship arises, for the duration of that relationship plus the statutory record-keeping obligation (7 years for financial records).
• Sentry error reports are retained for 90 days by default.
• Chat conversations are retained according to Appfire/Spartez policy; please refer to their privacy statement for details.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Have inaccurate data rectified
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict processing
• Data portability
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw previously given consent

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data. The website runs over HTTPS with HSTS preload, a strict Content Security Policy and additional security headers.

Changes

We may update this privacy statement. The current version is always available here, with the date at the top. We notify data subjects where relevant for any material changes.
